| I am a Franciscan Tertiary in the Church of England (if you don't know what one of those is, you only have to ask). I am somewhat disabled following a lifting injury that finished my nursing career (I was psychiatry and general trained).
My work now is in a voluntary capacity in a variety of roles in the Church of England. I work across the Diocese of Chelmsford. I am experienced in pastoral care, counselling, spiritual direction and work within the healing ministry as well as various administrative roles.
Like most active Christians, I am "overworked and underpaid" and somewhat in need of some tender loving care (hence the Username - Lonely Laurence).

| I love reading, music, movies and the countryside (although I can no longer do mountaineering).
While not specifically a hobby, I love to be able to help people in any kind of need.
I am competent in hypnotherapy and I can give a great massage. |

| I am not concerned about age and I believe that everyone has an internal beauty so looks are not too important (after all, you haven't seen me yet). Not wishing to be crude, but, I would consider myself a "breast man" (if you get my drift). Someone with a great concern for creation would be my ideal with a quirky sense of humour and a warm heart. Certainly, someone who has a deep Christian faith is a matter of great importance. I love intimacy and have no hang-ups about sex (although I am a loyal "one partner at a time" person.
I have no problems with anyone having any disability - if you can put up with mine, I can certainly put up with yours (if you have any). |

| A bottle of wine, a log fire (in Winter), someone to cuddle up to and chat with.
If things went any further, that would be a bonus, hopefully for both of us. |
